Augustus D. Brokaw, born at Lamar, Nebraska, attended the Cotner University at Bethany, Nebr., graduating 1912 with an A.B. Degree; had studied for the ministry and held numerous pastorates before retiring in 1957. Bessie Berg was born at McPherson, Kansas, and they lived in a number of localities. He held pastorates in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, and other places, and his last one was in Arlington, Washington, where he had retired. From 1958 on he has been in Rochester, Minnesota. Letters received from him from Arlington, Wn. and Rochester, Minn.

Frank Brokaw, as he is called, born at Milford, Nebraska, completed grade and high school then attended Cotner College (or University) at Bethany, Nebraska, graduating with an A.B. Degree, 1916. June Erford was a daughter of Elton J. and Lilly Bell (Lowery) Erford, and she and Francis Brokaw were married in Staplehurst, Nebraska. Frank was superintendent of schools, in Bethany, for some time, and later they removed to the State of Washington and are living in Everett.54. Aletta Brokaw, born and reared in Milford, Nebraska, and near the town of Seward, which towns were near the farm of her parents. She attended Cotner University at Bethany, Nebr. graduating, 1918, with an A.B. Degree, then taught school until married. The Rev. and Mrs. Paul Kennedy were missionaries for the Christian Church in the Philippines for many years. They now reside in Upland, California.In the family of the Rev. Kennedys there are 8 grandchildren, who were not named in the records sent to us by the Rev. A.D. Brokaw, then of Everett, Washington. Was visiting there at the time.

Fred Brokaw, born on a farm near Milford, Nebraska, received his education there and in Lincoln, Nebraska. he then served in the U.S. Army in World War One to 1918. He was married in Lincoln to Myra Harding who was born in Hebron, Nebraska, and they lived in Lincoln for years prior to moving to Bellingham, Washington. Fred Brokaw is employed there as underwriter and staff manager of the Prudential Insurance Co of America. The family are members of the Christian Church; he an Elder and Bible school teacher of high school age children; member of the choir and of the church board.Military: Fred Wilson Brokaw served in the U.S. Army in World War One until 1918.20
