SAMUEL WILLCOCKSON (Isaac4, John3, John2,       ) b. 1 April, 1798, Ky.; (age 52 in 1850 Census Boone Co. , Mo.) d. 13 Oct. , 1865, Boone Co. , Mo. ; m. 24 Aug., 1820, Milly_______, b. 11 Dec., 1799; d. 9 March, 1853; m. (2) 6 July, 1856, Boone Co., Mo., Eliza J. Peak by Berryman Wren. She was dau. of Joseph and Elizabeth Peak and, after Samuel's death, she m. (2) Nathan Hagans. The 1850 Census shows children Mary A., Overton H., Tabitha and John M. Two other daughters were mentioned in his will: Laura B. Wilcoxson and Rebecca Wilcoxson. John M. Wilcoxson was granted administration, 8 Nov., 1865, and final settlement was recorded in Boone Co., Mo., 10 Jan., 1872.                             may be his 2nd wife. These graves are in yard of Hinkson Creek.
                            The tombstone of Emily A. Wilcoxson, in cemetery of Goshen Primi-
                            tive Baptist Church, Cedar Twp., Boone Co., Mo. reads, "wife of
                            0. H. d. Apr. 14, 1874, age 32 yrs 6 mo 11 d."

                 512 James Libern Wilcoxson, b. 15 Dec., 1855, removed with his mother
                            to Nebraska City when he was nine years old and in 1875, to Ham-
                            burg, Iowa. He returned to Boone Co., Mo., Jan., 1877 and m. 14
                            Sept., 1881, Mary R. Nichols, dau. of Samuel. He was well-known
                            throughout the State for his long years of newspaper activity,
                            being editor of the Ashland Bugle. His wife was b. 18 Feb., 1858;
                            d. 13 Nov., 1917; bur. Columbia, Mo.
